After a large number of requests, we did again a decat show off on the 790Adv. We still recommend to not decat the 790 Engine, there are large number of reasons and most important are.
- Massive power drop on a single straight pipe.
- The stock ecu is not going to adjust it self, not after 5 seconds and not after 5 days. You are going to end up, with none working engine.
- don't let you fool by tuning companies, there is actually no way to set up the 790ADV to work on decat on long term. Not with so called mapping and not with stock bike.
- There are companies working on a membrane based decat, this is actually the best workaround if you really want to go decat and if you are looking to have a reliable setup.
